Biography
Born in Hollywood, CA, his first ballet instructors were Larry and Sarma Rosenberg, directors of Anaheim Ballet, from the David Lichine/Tatiana Riabouchinska school. Tyrone was invited to compete in the New York International Ballet Competition going on to dance with greats such as Janet Eilber, Fernando Bujones, and Mikhail Baryshnikov dancing all of the world’s classical ballets such as Swan Lake and Giselle as well as Bournonville ballets and a majority of contemporary classics such as Rodeo, Romeo & Juliet, The Filling Station and many Balanchine ballets such as Who Cares and Serenade with companies such as Nevada Ballet, Dallas Ballet, and Richmond Ballet; later touring internationally with the renowned Nikolais-Louis company. Tyrone has sung with Jerry Herman’s Broadway and acted in TV series’ such as FBI: The Untold Stories. As an instructor he founded and operated two successful New York dance academies teaching and coaching dance throughout the world from little ones learning 1st position to top level professionals in major dance companies, private studios, school districts, and in prestigious universities such as Adelphi University, NY and The Claremont Colleges, CA.
